Float Copper Specimen

$45.00

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is one of the few places in the world where one can find a copper deposit in its native, un-oxidized form. This piece of copper was plucked from its deposit and pushed along by continental glaciers during the Ice Age and deposited in Glacial Drift. People hunt for them with metal detectors in plowed fields.
