After many enjoyable years of employment as a geologist in the Texas oil patch with all of its ups and downs, I decided to follow my passion for the earth’s treasures. I began digging Green River fossil fish in Wyoming, collecting minerals in New Jersey, collecting ammonites in Texas and traveling to acquire all sorts of specimens that I could enjoy temporarily and then share with you. The pieces on this site were hand-picked or found by me. Most of the crystal lamps were constructed by me as I am fascinated by the sensation of light emanating from a crystal in a dimly lit room.
